Somayeh Golmohammadi

Somayeh Golmohammadi (1992) is the founder of Dutch Residency.

Somayeh was born and raised in Iran and came to the Netherlands as being in a special situation of family reunion and as a highly-skilled migrant. She passed all necessary exams within several weeks at first attempt. This experience gives her a clear edge in advising clients.

Before her role at Dutch Residency, Somyeh worked as a Data Scientist for CGI The Netherlands. Through her job, Somayeh expanded her network of highly skilled migrants in The Netherland considerably and, above all, became familiar with many aspects of Dutch life, from the tax system to insurance. Back in Iran she worked as a Data Scientist at SAEI Group, a dedicated contractor for MTN-Irancell.

She holds an MSc in Computer Science, with specialization Artificial Intelligence from Tehran Univerity, and a BSc in Computer Science & Mathematics from Isfahan University. She ranked top 5% of the national university entrance examination.

Gert-Jan van Dijk

Gert-Jan van Dijk (1966) is partner at Dutch Residency.

He has more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, private equity, and professional advisory.

Next to working for Dutch Residency, Gert-Jan is partner at Exogenic Corporate Finance, a Corporate Finance advisory boutique in The Netherlands. Through this position, he has excellent experience in advising clients on business and tax-related matters. Before his position at Exogenic Corporate Finance, Gert-Jan worked as a senior investment manager at NPM Capital, as a management consultant at Booz & Company, and as an Analyst M&A at ABN Amro bank.

He studied business economics at Erasmus University in The Netherlands and holds various executive diplomas in finance and business-related matters.
